This is a recipe especially for my aunt.
(my own recipe)
- 4 salmon fillets or 2 thick salmon steaks (150-200 gr each)
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar (or white wine vinegar)
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
Step One
Put the salmon pieces in a plastic bag, add the dark soy sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, sweet chili sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Close the bag and place it in the fridge over the night to marinade.
Step Two
Heat the oil in a pan, put the salmon on the pan and fry for 2 min on each side. Serve while it's still hot. Garnish with vegetable rice.
Tip: If you don't want to fry the salmon, you can always cook it in the oven. Preheat the oven at 200 Celsius degrees. Place the salmon in a baking tin and add the marinade on top. Turn them after 2 min. and let 3 more min. in the oven.
