Home-made Burger


(my own recipe)

Serves 6-8

Ingredients:
  • 1 kg minced beef
  • 2 medium size onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 6-8 burger buns
  • ketchup
  • mayonnaise
  • mustard
Garnish:
  • cherry tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • cheese slices
  • onion slices
Step One
 Dice the onions and the garlic as small as possible. Put the minced beef in a bowl and mix in the onion, garlic, egg and all the spices. Split the mixture in 6-8 round burgers.
Step Two
 Place a pan on high heat without oil (you can also add 2 tbsp oil if you wish)when it's really hot place the burgers (it's perfect if you have a grill, I don't use it in winter) in this time.In parallel  cut in half and warm your burger buns. Turn the burgers and keep them according to how you like them.
Step Three
 Put on the down part of the bun the ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard. Mix them a little it will get like a very tasty sauce(even if it doesn't look that way :P). Place the burgers and all the rest garnish that you wish.
