I made this recipe on the spot for my friend Aisha, she said:"It tastes like my mom's food". This is the best compliment I could hear. We eat it with chop sticks, lot of work but it worked and it was fun :)
Ingredients:
Step One
Preheat a non-stick pan with the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and fry until soft.
Step Two
Cut the veal into thin slices and add it on the pan, lightly browning on each side. Add the red pepper, finely chopped jalapeno, turmeric, coriander, paprika, mixed masala, cumin and lightly fry them. Afterwards, add the tomatoes, cover the pan with a lid and let them simmer for 10 min.
Step Three
Add the garlic, oregano, thyme and let them simmer gently for 30-35 minutes (if it's needed, add 100 ml of water). Garnish the dice with rice. Serve warm.
