Brocobeef Stir-fry


(my own recipe)
Serve 4

Ingredients:
  • 500 gr beef fillet steak
  • 150 gr broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 jar mix mushrooms in oil TIP 250 gr mushrooms saute
  • 1 small can sweet corn
  • 1 lemon grass
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
Marinade for the beef:
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • pinch of pepper


First Step
 Put the beef in a bowl and put all the ingredients for the marinate.Afterwards place it in the fridge for at list 30 min.



Step Two
 Open the jars/cans and place the corn and the mushrooms in bowls to be easier to maneuver.  Chop the onion, garlic, ginger and set aside. Hit the lemon grass 3-4 times with the back of your knife, not to hard.

Step Tree
 Bring a pot with water to a boil and trow the broccoli inside, with care,  let them boil for 1 min. Afterwards take them out in a bowl with cold water preferably with some ice cubes.
 Saute the onion garlic,ginger and lemon grass in hot oil. 

 Add to the wok the marinated beef , dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and flour stir fry them until the beef changes color afterwards add the mushrooms and  sweet corn stir fry for another 2 min and add the broccoli (without the water) and let it simmer for 2-3 more min.

When the stir fry is done add slices of pepper and serve while still hot with rice.
