- 40 gr (1 1/2 oz) white breadcrumbs(approx.2 slices)
- 50 ml (2fl oz) milk
- 250 gr (9 oz) turkey mince
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- 1/2 tbsp flour, to dust hands
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil, for frying
- 1/2 the chopped onions from above
- 1 x 400 gr (14 oz) tin chopped tomatoes
- 100 ml (3 1/2 fl oz) water
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp oregano

Step One
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions gently for about 10 minutes.
Step Two
Meanwhile, soak the breadcrumbs in milk for 10 minutes in a large bowl.
Step Three
To make the sauce, transfer half the sauteed onion to a pan, add all the other sauce ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
