White Chocolate and Cranberry Flapjacks





(recipe from Easy Food magazine)

Makes 10
Ingredients:
  • 80 gr golden syrup
  • 130 gr light brown sugar
  • 130 gr butter
  • 225 gr porridge oats
  • 50 gr mixed seeds
  • 100 gr dried cranberries
  • 60 gr white chocolate chips(I used milk chocolate chips)
 Step One

 Preheat the oven to 180℃/ 160℃ fan/ gas mark 4. 

 Line a 20 cm square tin with non-stick parchment paper.

Step Two

 In a pot, combine the golden syrup, light brown sugar and butter. Allow to melt slowly over a medium- low heat.

Step Three

 Stir in the porridge oats, mixed seeds and dried cranberries. Finally, stir in the white chocolate chips; they , may melt with the heat of the mix.

Step Four

 Pour into the prepared tin, smooth the top and press down well.

Step Five

 Bake for 20-30 min or until golden brown. Allow to cool fully before cutting into 10 fingers.
