My birthday cake

The recipe it's like the Bi-color delight, with small changes.

Happy Birthday to me :)

It has (from down up)coco sponge, vanilla cream with chocolate pieces, vanilla sponge, vanilla cream with chocolate pieces, cinnamon sponge, sugar coat on top:)

About me

My name is Alexandra, I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. I also enjoy reading good books and nature (green and brown being two of my favourite colours). I don't have children yet :) BIG update on this point I have 2 beautiful girls, so a bit less time to update my recipes.

I'm not working so cooking and this blog keep me busy everyday. I started this blog by writing some recipes that I love, because I grow up with them. However, due to my passion to experiment with different styles and techniques of cooking, most of the recipes I'm posting, are made on my first try to cook a dish (even for the recipes made by me). Of course... there are recipes that I really liked and I included them on my weekly cooking calendar!

Currently, I love stir-fried dishes (to cook and more importantly to eat them :) guess what even after 5 years I still love them :P I don't like at all really spicy food (with lot of heat from spices or chilies), however because my husband enjoys it I cook some dishes from time to time to satisfy his taste. I hope you enjoy reading and testing my recipes as much as I do. Just have fun and if you do make any of my recipes, you could make and send me a photo, and I will add it on the blog.
